Home is where the heart is

It truly is...it doesn't matter where your house is, but the people you're surrounded by can make a place home or hell. My heart is slightly torn. I have my wonderful dad in San Francisco along with an incredibly fun city to explore; while on the other hand, I have the rest of my family and friends in an incredibly boring city I've lived in my whole life. The thing is though, when I think of Roseville I think of home and I love it, but it's definitely NOT Roseville I love, it's the people in it.

Anyway...my next big adventure will be going to Puerto Rico for about 3 weeks! I'll be gone December 17th - January 7th. Wonderful graduation gift provided by aunts, uncles, and my oma! I'm really excited! My goal starting this past year has been to go someplace new each year or try something new, and I'm off with a fantastic start! Odds are the next new place will be wherever I am for college.

So there's your update my lovelies! This xanga probably wont be updated until my PR trip rolls around. Until then you can check out my other xanga....which probably wont be updated for some time either

  • I must have insomnia

I honestly think I do...it's 3:30 right now and I stay up really late about 4 out of 7 days of the week. The other nights I crash at 11! My poor messed up internal clock. Anyway, with slight cases of insomnia comes severe cases of boredom! haha. So, here are some pics from tonight/this morning. I just used the lame kodak editing software...I can't wait to take a photoshop class!

Things are going well! Especially since I get paid this week! hehe. I think I'm going to buy a digital camera while I'm here because once I get to Roseville the pay wont be nearly as good and I wont be able to afford it! We shall see.

Oh, and the reason behind these photos...aside from the boredom...is for my music myspace and using them for promotional tools. Imagine a completely different format with words and stuff, similar to a poster I guess.

  • I haven't posted in nearly a month...nothing to really post about though This is more of an "I feel obligated to post therefore I'm posting." heh

Well, dad and I got a dog today; it's a chihuahua. She is about 7 or 8 which is good. We wanted an older dog that wouldn't be really hyper. She is still timid and getting used to everything. Sweet girl though, she hasn't barked or whined at all! I think we are going to call her Bug. ha, her eyes make her look like one!

I guess that's it, nothing new.....and my post is horribly written...I may just edit this later We shall see.

    love you all!

  • -insert nifty title here-

Well I have a job at Janet Moyer Landscaping working in the office! I started on Thursday. I like to call myself the "file cabinet master!" catchy title 'eh? I didn't get the chocolate job, but that's ok. God blessed me with a job that will provide!

I visited my dad's church today. It's called Chinese Grace Baptist Church. It's a really good church, I like it a lot! It's really small too.

It seems the less I have going on the more I have on my mind! I shall talk to you later!

  • Cooking to pass the time?

    sadly, yes...

no job = lots of extra time

lots of time = doing the unthinkable

    doing the unthinkable  = cooking

Goodness, I need a job. I can cook already (of course I could always practice at becoming better), I just don't enjoy it.

I'm just messing, cooking isn't that terrible and is definitely NOT the unthinkable, but I never cook to pass time. I've never really had time to focus on passing. I'm constantly going places and doing things, but not here.

I find out Wednesday if I got the job I interviewed for so please be praying!
